Watching The Watchers

“ For the chief of state under modern conditions, a limiting factor is too many subjects and problems in too many areas of government to allow solid understanding of any of them... , This leaves the field open to protective stupidity. Meanwhile bureaucracy, safely repeating today what it did yesterday, rolls on as ineluctably as some vast computer , which once penetrated by error, duplicates it forever.” Barbara W. Australia’s Senator Coonan’s Media Visionless
Government Knows Best Dictatorship
Perpetuates the Status Quo

Coonan is still gas bagging about digital content initiatives and no doubt is waiting for John “lying rodent” Howard to give her the nod to move on to a selected position like ambassador to Italy or even replacing Alston in London as a reward for having been the boxing bag for their media status quo mates and having generated the perception of change but delivered nothing after 10 years but a string of analog asset value adding backing for Australia’s media monopoly while making all Australians pay for it by thoroughly neglecting the public interest and economic benefits. But Coonan like the majority of these political scumbags and parasites is a mediocre conveyancing - clerk who wouldn’t know her arsehole from a hole in the ground when it comes to technology economics. Nor would her spineless self-serving advisers. But they have been getting away with this for decades and know that the majority of Australians can be told just about anything. Once again it needs to be emphasized that all Australians should by now, been receiving free multi channel iDTV at least to the extent that is available by Fox Tel (which is why you don’t have it if the penny has not yet dropped) and Austar, Select TV among others. The circle that would promote itself as virtuous in all iDTV respects is in fact the status quo and consists of the media monopoly status quo, the political status quo and the mandarins from the army of Aussie bureaucracy. This is a closed circle that has denied all Australians state of the art iDTV and by the way state of the art fibre optic. But Coonan and the rest of these frauds on the majority have never worked in business so they wouldn’t know what the economic costs are. And the saem could be said for their advisers, being nothing more than typical arse kissing Yes minister flunkeys out to milk government for whatever they can for their dual career paths. For example the main chiefs in the governments ACMA are all ex media status quo loyalists (mainly the Free-TV mafia so they have their own on the inside working for them to make sure they remain your only “free TV” source) so the “lying rodent” and his gas bagging maintaining- the- media -status -quo minister, are, with the economically inefficient media status quo monopoly, all happily bullshitting endlessly with one another to persuade themselves and thru propaganda delivered to “all Australians”, that all Aussies have the best (and its FREE!) entertainment media system in the world. (You have zero input and it looks like even when its explained to you that you maybe don’t have the guts to do anything about it and these scumbags.) Sorry Aussies this is pure unadulterated bullshit and you are continuing to pay for mediocre media, including paying for Coonan’s expensive life after politics. Suckers!Get rid of this status quo deadwood and demand your economic bill of rights constitution and your iDTV now. And the Australia ID Card! Well need we say more? Except to say you live in one of the most deviant unaccountable political systems in the world, with the most corrupt expensive counterproductive bureaucracy in the world. Forgotten the wheat scandal already have we? Not to mention the free digital spectrum worth billions to the Free-TV mafia. Idiocy of the first order but look who benefits! Sorry not you the voting brainwashed majority. It’s time for a revolution that includes constitutional amendments and universal economically efficient iDTV. And getting rid of compulsory voting etc. etc.
PS Notice how all the media owners especially the economically inefficient free to air TV mafia are now bailing out while they can and guess who is paying for it and guess who will continue to pay for it when the value of these old assets ends up dropping like a stone? But if you act now and demand free multichannel iDTV and amend the antiquated corrupt status quo constitution that allows the status quo to keep doing what it has been doing for decades, then you can shift some of the cost of this economic inefficiency onto the status quo. But are you up to it?
